#1: Can you handle large bookings? Do you bring help?
-Yes, I can handle bookings of all sizes. If your party is particularly large or if there is a lack of time, I have talented assistants who are ready to help. Please note that there is a $50 fee for each additional assistant I must provide.
#2: Do you offer Airbrushing? What are the benefits?
-Yes, I do offer airbrush makeup for any makeup application, and it is automatically included in the Bridal makeup package and for bridesmaids. I use top-of-the-line silicone based makeup to guarantee a flawless finish on any skin type for 12+ hours. The oil-free and hypo-allergenic formula make it a suitable choice for all skin types, even extremely sensitive or oily skin! Natural looking in person, and perfect for HD photos. It’s cry, sweat, and transfer-proof properties make it ideal for hot summer days and bridal parties.
#3: How long is my application/appointment going to be?
-Bridal Parties: For the bridal makeup trial, expect to be with us for 1.5-2 hours. On the wedding day, please allow 35mins per party member, and 1 full hour for the Bride. To give an example, a party of 5 ladies can be comfortably completed within 3-3.5 hours. I will work with you to create a cohesive itinerary to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day-of.
-Individual bookings: Please allow 1 full hour for your appointment. While application duration is usually only 30-45 minutes, this allows some playtime for more complex looks, adjustments, and last-minute requests.
#4: Do you offer Hairstyling?
-Sadly I do not. However, please feel free to contact the following ladies regarding their availability for your event date. Each of them are super talented and will also join you at your location!
#5: Where do you work from? Do you travel?
-I offer my services within Windsor & Essex County in-studio and on-location. Clients are always welcome to join me in-studio, located in Harrow, Ontario though I also travel on-site for your convenience. Note: on-site artistry is automatically provided for bridal parties within W/EC as part of the bridal package.
#6: What brands of makeup do you use?
I carry a variety of professional and high-end products to accommodate all aspects of my services. Included are; RCMA, Eve Pearl, Viseart, Graftobian, TemptuPRO and much more. I have an extensive colour range from alabaster to ebony and have a perfect match for every skin tone. I also keep an array of Vegan, Cruelty-free and Toxin-free brands such as; Pacifica, Inglot, Emani, NYX Cosmetics, Urban Decay, Tarte, Burt’s Bees, Physician’s Formula, and so on. I use top-of the-line brushes and tools, all of which are thoroughly cleaned & sanitized before and after every client–always! Q-tips, disposable sponges and applicators are well-stocked and thrown out after single use.
#7: Did you go to school for Makeup Artistry? Where?
-Yes, I attended QC Makeup Academy’s Master Makeup Artistry program and graduated as a Professional Master Makeup Artist. I was taught multiple genres of makeup artistry including corrective makeup, bridal, theater/fantasy, and high fashion/runway. I was lucky enough to have some of my work featured as part of the Student Showcase in February 2014, and later to be published in Surreal Beauty Magazine in June 2014. I continue to advance my artistry with all of the webinars, workshops, and hands-on play time I can get and still love my job after 5 years working in the field professionally.
#8: How do I book you? Do you need a deposit?
-In order to book your wedding date, a minimum of 4 party members must be booked with a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit of the grand total. Booking can be done by scheduling an in-studio appointment to come by and chat, or electronically via Adobe Document Sign and payment via email money transfer or the Square payment app. *Please note that wedding dates (particularly Saturday’s April-October) can book over a year in advance, so please don’t hesitate to contact me to discuss the details of your special day!
-If you’re an individual looking for an application, a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required to retain your selected date & time. As much notice as possible is appreciated, and is more likely to guarantee your desired appointment, especially during prime wedding season months (April-October).
